Naan Bread Pizzas

Serves 2

Pizzas always go down well and this recipe can be made with the help from your kids. It will encourage them to eat more vegetables as they are more likely to eat vegetables if they have made the meal themselves. Introduce new veg slowly and if they don’t like it first time around, don’t give up, wait a while and try again.

 

Ingredients

2 Naan Breads

2 tablespoons of tomato puree

100g grated cheddar cheese

A selection of chopped vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, sweet corn, onions and mushrooms.

A meat protein (if desired) such as Ham, Tuna or cooked chicken.

Pinch of Oregano

 

Method

-          Spread 1 tablespoon of tomato puree on each Naan bread and sprinkle over grated cheddar cheese.

-          Ask your child to help you choose the vegetable toppings, maybe encouraging them to try the veg as they make the pizza.

-          Add a meat protein if you desire and sprinkle with a little Oregano.

-          Place in a pre heated oven on a baking sheet gas mark 6/200c for 10 minutes.

-          Serve straight away with a green salad or my sesame seed potato wedges.
